Mr. Ferdico is a proud Veteran of the United States Army, retiring in 2015 after 23 years of service. He served for more than 13 years as an Armor and Cavalry Officer and spent the remainder of his military career as a Judge Advocate. In 2000 he deployed to Kosovo for Operation Joint Guardian and in 2003 he was deployed to Iraq and served with the 101st Airborne Division during the invasion of Iraq, and later with the Multi-National Division North. In 2010 he again deployed to Iraq with the 67th Battlefield Surveillance Brigade where he served as the Brigade Judge Advocate, focusing on Operational Law, Intelligence Law, Administrative Law and Military Justice as he advised senior combat commanders. He wears the Bronze Star, along with other personal and unit awards.

Mr. Ferdico has extensive litigation and appellate experience in the areas of veterans and military rights, personal injury, premises liability, products liability, and administrative law. Mr. Ferdico also has litigated a wide variety of felony and misdemeanor criminal defenses. He has been appointed as a Special Assistant Attorney General to lead a special investigative task force for the State of Nebraska.
